In 1953, Finn Juhl designed a simple yet elegant dining chair for the furniture manufacturer Bovirke. The chair is perfectly fit for private homes, hotels, restaurants and conference facilities alike.
Juhl designed the Reading Chair as both a dining room chair and as a reading chair. It is designed to be equally comfortable whether you choose to sit facing the back or the front. This might sound both odd and complicated, but thanks to Juhl’s genius, the result was a simple, unpretentious, yet thoroughly well designed and visually pleasing chair.
The Reading Chair is manufactured in oak with a backside of either walnut or teak. The seat is upholstered with either fabric or leather. The chair is also available in black stain.
