A relative to our rug Doris, Happy is meant to reflect the feeling you get when you walk on it. Created by Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg, Kasthall's lead designer for 28 years, Happy is one of Kasthall's more intricate designs. The woven chenille rug in pure wool with lurex is separated into various sections in carefully considered color schemes. Every yarn and pattern change adds further layers of complexity. Such a design requires great skill and patience, but the result is a truly spectacular rug.
