Right back in 1957, Poul M. Volther created a stylish and simple table that would match most of FDB Furniture’s classic dining chairs. The result was the C35 table, as current as it was 60 years ago. The table was also among the first furniture that was relaunched with FDB Furniture. The table legs, sloping inwardly, give a special ease in expression and a stable table, available in three sizes for both the small, medium and large families: four, eight and twelve. The table top comes in nature (beech and oak), linoleum or black - giving three completely different expressions.

Poul M. Volther became director of FDB Møller’s drawing room after Børge Morgensen, thus becoming the company’s second design manager. He followed Børge Mogensen’s thoughts and torn ambitions to furnish the Danes home with functional and simple furniture of the highest craftsmanship and architectural quality. With an education as a furniture cutter and furniture architect, Poul M. Volther was highly qualified to carry on both design and crafts.

The C35 - 82x82 is the smallest table in the C35 series. It is obvious for the kitchen, the small residence or the cottage. The table has 4 good seats and with 2 additional plates of 37x82cm, seating for 6-8 people. The additional plates can be bought here at the home store.

The C35 - 82x160 is the middle table in the C35 series. It is set for the kitchen or dining room. The table has 6 good seats and with 2 Supplementary plates of 37 x 82 cm accommodate 8-10 people. The additional plates can be bought here at the home store.

The C35 - 95x220 is the largest table in the C35 series. That’s obivious to the dining room or the large kitchen-living room. The table has 8 good seats and with 2 Supplemental plates of 45 x 95 cm will accommodate 10-12 people. The additional plates can be bought here at the home store.
